Have you been to the heart of the theater district in Philadelphia? Here you can get the best buffalo meat and chocolate delights known to man at Teds Montana Grill and the Naked Chocolate Cafe. Upon entering Ted’s you feel the richness of the West come to life with oak wall panels and wood trim throughout the restaurant. On the wall is a full Bison head. Ted Turner, owner and founder of Teds, has a nice menu with affordable entrees. Enjoy the bison burgers with a side of hand cut fries. The meat is not gamey but tasty, almost like angus beef, but richer in taste. The fries are great, too. Teds has nicely decorated booths with dark rich wood trim all around. When you finish your meal, hop a cab over to the Naked Chocolate Cafe just a few blocks away for some great desserts to take back to the hotel room.

There you will find almost any kind of treat imaginable. Buy some truffles, chocolate cake and an Aztec coffee, pure cocoa with a blend of spices and little kick of heat. Yum! It is very thick and like a cup of espresso but tastier. There are many little day trips to make in Philadelphia. For example, tour through the Italian Market where Rocky ran. It’s only a five minute ride from the Liberty Bell. See the nation’s oldest theater on Walnut Street. Eat at the famous Italian restaurant, LaScalas, just half a block from Independence Hall. So come visit Philadelphia’s historic district and be sure to plan yourself a spectacular day.
